Charles Trowbridge

Manager of Sales

Charlie returned to SDI in 2009 after three years as a global steel trader with Macsteel International. He first joined SDI in 1998 as part of a consulting team working on a venture in Thailand. He then served in various sales capacities, including regional sales manager. Charlie’s wife, Prill, was an IT systems analyst with SDI for 9 years. A native of Long Island, New York, Charlie earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance at Bryant University in Rhode Island. He enjoys travel, bicycling, golf, hiking, and skiing.

Nancy Murphy

Market Manager — OEM

Nancy joined the sales team in 2011, bringing with her more than 20 years of technical, managerial, sales, and marketing experience in a variety of steel-related industries that use, distribute, and coat flat-rolled products. A St. Louis native, Nancy earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing—with minors in chemistry and biology—at the University of Evansville. Her first professional position was with Allied Chemical, where she worked with clients producing semiconductors, such as IBM. Another highlight on her résumé was as general manager of Mitsui’s steel-trading office in Chicago. Nancy inherited a love of gardening and a green thumb from her mom. Her other interests include reading, exercise, travel, a love of animals, and supporting worthwhile charities. She and her husband, David, currently reside in St. Louis.

Brian Smallwood

Smallwood & Associates

Brian was in outside sales with National Steel for nine years before founding Smallwood & Associates in 1990. Based just outside Nashville in Brentwood, Tennessee, Smallwood & Associates sells products for the Flat Roll Division and the Techs. Brian represents the fifth generation of his family to work in the steel industry. A native of Boston, Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy at Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts. He and his wife, Susan, were college sweethearts. They have four children, Jordan, Benjamin, Carly, and Abby. Brian enjoys golf and family travel.

Chris Stock

Market Manager — Corrugated Steel Pipe and High Carbon & Strip Steel

Chris is back in the SDI fold after a five-year absence. He’s worked in the steel business his entire career. Before coming to SDI in 1996, Chris gained experience at a steel service center and with an international steel-trading company. He joined the flat-roll mill as a regional sales manager, and in 1998, was promoted to sales manager. Chris moved to Paragon Steel, a subsidiary of SDI, in 2007, and then founded his own steel service center business four years ago. He earned a bachelor’s degree in history at Indiana University. Chris is married, has three children, and enjoys golf and travel.

Christine Hernandez

Market Manager- Automotive

Christine joined the SDI team in September 2014. She was previously with Rouge Steel (acquired by Severstal in 2003) and served another 11 years with Severstal, selling for both the Dearborn, Michigan, and Columbus, Mississippi, mills. Christine managed the customer service, order processing, and pricing departments prior to assuming the role of automotive sales manager. A native of Michigan, Christine earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and finance at the University of Michigan. She's an avid golfer, and she and her husband, Larry, have two children, Madison and Kyle.

Dave joined the Flat Roll Group sales team in October, 2014 – as Market Manager – Automotive. He had previously been with Severstal in an Automotive OEM sales role. He and his family currently live in Michigan.

Dan Andrews

Account Manager — Automotive

Dan entered the steel industry directly out of university following completion of his Metallurgical Engineering degree from Colorado School of Mines in 2009. His career began as the Hot Rolled Metallurgist at then-Severstal -- Columbus, MS. After 3 years in this role, he moved to the commercial team as an Automotive Account Manager in 2012 and held this role through SDI’s acquisition of the Columbus, MS facility. Dan lives in the greater Nashville area and continues to focus on new domestic automotive OEMs and control companies. Dan is happily married, has 2 daughters, and enjoys Scuba, Jiu-Jitsu and fitness.

Steve Watson

Account Manager — Automotive

Steve joined the Flat Roll Group sales team in April, 2015. He’d previously spent 18 years with Rouge Steel/Severstal, progressing through various roles and responsibilities that included outside processing, production planning, customer service, marketing, and sales. A native of Canada, Steve earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business at the University of Windsor. He and his wife currently live in Michigan, and in his spare time Steve enjoys golf and travel.

Darcie David

Regional Sales Manager

Darcie joined Steel Dynamics’ Flat Roll Group sales team as a Regional Sales Manager in September 2014, after SDI acquired Severstal North America’s Columbus, MS division - where she had previously worked for five years.  Darcie started her professional career working in the steel industry in 2008 with ArcelorMittal where she completed a yearlong sales training program before becoming an Account Manager.   Prior to working for ArcelorMittal, she attended Pennsylvania State University where she graduated with a BS in Supply Chain and Information Systems.   Being a Denver native, when she is not working, she is an avid backcountry skier and enjoys staying active in the great outdoors.

Charlie Furman

Regional Sales Manager

Charlie Furman has been with Steel Dynamics for two years as Regional Sales Manager and as a Strategic Accounts Manager, since the acquisition of the Columbus, MS facility in September 2014. Prior to that, he was a Regional Sales Manager for Severstal in the Southern Region for two years. Charlie has been affiliated with the Columbus facility for over ten years as part of the original startup team when the company began as Severcorr. In addition to his Commercial roles for Columbus, Charlie had an extensive career in Human Resources with Severcorr/Severstal, and prior to that with Bethlehem Steel at several plant locations.

Larry Guerzon

Regional Sales Manager

Larry had already built a solid career in sales with steel service centers in the Chicago area when he joined The Techs in 1996. A native of the Windy City, he studied business administration at Southern Illinois University and Northwestern. Larry and his wife, Sue, have a daughter, Dominique. Larry is a certified scuba diver, and he enjoys skiing. But he’s really in his element when he’s cruising down the highway on one of his two Harley-Davidsons.

Lori Hahn

Regional Sales Manager

Lori came to SDI during the construction of the flat-roll mill in 1995 and was part of the team led by John Nolan (now general manager of SDI’s Structural and Rail Division) that created the sales department. Lori got her start in the industry in 1979, working in personnel, administration, and sales at Nucor’s mill in Norfolk, Nebraska, her hometown and where she studied business at the local college. In 1988, she became part of the start-up team for Nucor’s mill in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Although she’s often on the road in her job, Lori still loves to travel during her rare leisure time.

Tod Hirsch

Regional Sales Manager

Tod joined SDI in 2014, as part of the Columbus, MS acquisition. He has worked for nearly 40 years in the steel industry, 30 years of that span with service centers. He resides in Music City USA- Nashville, but remains a Yankee at heart. He has been married to his wife Linda for 40 years and has two sons, grown and married – and four precious grandchildren. Tod enjoys golf, reading, biking, music, travel… and trying to curtail his wife’s expenditures on the grandchildren!

Syd Hughes

Regional Sales Manager

Syd joined SDI in 1998 after a 20-year career in supervision and sales in the aluminum industry. With the Flat Roll Division, he worked in inside sales, excess and secondary sales, and e-commerce before being named regional sales manager in 2005. Syd grew up in Brazil, Indiana, and earned a bachelor’s degree in business at Indiana State University in Terre Haute. He and his wife, Cathy, have two children, Matthew and Candace, and four grandchildren. In his spare time, Syd enjoys fly fishing, hunting, and golf.

Laura Kessler

Regional Sales Manager

Laura joined SDI in February, 2016, bringing more than 15 of experience in the metals industry. She began her career at National Steel as a Management Associate in Automotive and progressed to outside sales in Construction Products.  Laura subsequently served as Account Manager for both New Process Steel and Worthington Industries.  She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, with minors in Business and Communications from Western Michigan University. Laura, her husband and their three children reside in Houston, Texas.  Laura enjoys spending time with her family, crafting and outdoor activities.

Marc Krouse

Regional Sales Manager

Marc signed on with the Flat Roll Division in 2000, working in Inside Sales and Excess and Secondary Sales, until he was named Regional Sales Manager in 2007. Before joining SDI, he was an accountant for a construction company based in Fort Wayne, his hometown. Marc earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at Ball State University. He has two daughters, Samantha and Allison, and summertime is family time at their lake cottage in northeast Indiana.

Rigoberto Martinez

Regional Sales Manager

Rigoberto joined Severstal-Columbus in May, 2013 and moved to SDI as part of the acquisition of that fine facility. He started his career at the steel industry in 1996 working at APM, a steel mill subsidiary of the former Grupo IMSA. He led groups to develop and consolidate the participation of the company in the Automotive OEM industry, Home Appliance and other related markets. Rigo earned a Mechanical & Electrical Engineering degree in 1991 from University Autonoma de Nuevo Leon (UANL) and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems in 1997 from Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). Rigoberto, his wife and their three daughters live in Monterrey, Mexic. He enjoys free time with family and friends, as well as outdoor sports.

Dave Palaski

Regional Sales Manager

Dave, who also serves as inside sales leader for The Techs, began his career in the steel industry as a production employee at NexTech right after he graduated from Pittsburgh’s Central Catholic High School in 1996. He joined the sales team in 2005. Dave has also gone back to school to earn a bachelor’s degree in business at Waynesburg University and an MBA at the University of Pittsburgh. When he’s not selling steel, Dave enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, camping, and long-distance running. Dave’s dad, another Dave, an exit end operator at MetalTech, has been with the company since 1988.

Kellie Prola

Regional Sales Manager

Kellie came to The Techs in 1996 after two years in sales with U.S. Steel. With the Techs, she’s served in both inside and outside sales positions. Kellie grew up in Greensburg, close to Pittsburgh. She earned a bachelor’s degree in economics at Millersville University in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country. Kellie’s leisure time is spent with her two boys, Conner and Caleb. She takes an active role at their school, participating in homeroom activities. She’s also involved in their sports and scouting throughout the year. Kellie also enjoys golf, cycling, and running.

Tim joined The Techs in 1996 after a stint as a plant supervisor for a commercial laundry company. A native of Pittsburgh, he earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA at Waynesburg University. Tim and his wife, Bethany, a registered nurse, have two children, Nathan and Natalie. Tim’s avocations include running, golf, fishing, and tearing around on dirt bikes.

P.C. Drouin

Account Manager

P.C. joined the sales team in 2013 after working for a year in the Butler mill. A native of Montreal, P.C. earned a bachelor's degree in business management and marketing at Cornell University before embarking upon a 15-year career as a professional hockey player. He originally signed with the Boston Bruins minor-league system and was called up to the big club on several occasions. He then played in Europe for seven years. Before coming to SDI, he was a member of the Fort Wayne Komets for six years. P.C.'s wife, Michelle, is a professor of psychology at IPFW. The Drouins' downtime is consumed by keeping pace with young sons Tyler and Noah and transporting them to numerous sports activities.

Susan Langager

Smallwood & Associates

Susan joined Smallwood & Associates in 1996 after a stint in the music-publishing business. She sells products made by the Flat Roll Division and The Techs from the office on the road. Susan’s originally from Ocean City, New Jersey, but when she attended Vanderbilt University, she fell in love with the Nashville area and made it her home. Susan and her husband, John, have a son, David. She enjoys leisure time on the water: sailing, water skiing, and snorkeling.

Mark Goble

In May 2016, Mark joined SDI after nearly 27 years with Akzo Nobel Coatings where he worked in various functions including:  coatings formulation, technical service, and sales management. Mark earned a Bachelor's Degree from Capital University in Columbus, OH and has also studied Chemistry and Mathematics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).  Mark, his wife Susan, and their son Ben live in Birmingham, AL. In his free time, Mark enjoys coaching basketball, bicycling, fly fishing, and spending time with his family.

Eric Peeples

Account Manager

Eric came to the former Severstal mill in Columbus, Mississippi, as an Inside Sales Representative in 2012, but in 2013, he opted to move to the melt shop, where he served as an EAF second helper. Early in 2015, Eric rejoined the sales team in Columbus, part of SDI’s Flat Roll Group. A native of Louise, Mississippi, Eric earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA at Mississippi State University. In his spare time, he enjoys being on the water, and is an avid fan of college sports, especially his beloved MSU Bulldogs where he participated in the co-ed cheerleading team as a student from 2006-2011.

Zach Sheridan

Zach joined the flat-roll sales team in 2013 after working for seven years as a salesperson and senior buyer at Terex Corporation, a diversified global manufacturer of construction and material processing equipment. After completing an associate degree in automotive technology, he earned a bachelor’s in business management and an MBA from Indiana University. Zach grew up in Fort Wayne, where he lives with his wife, Yvette, and their sons Harrison and Jedaiah. Zach enjoys reading, running, and spending time with his family.

Cindy Young

Account Manager

Hired by SDI co-founder Dick Teets back in 1996, Cindy has been with the Butler mill since start-up. She began as a scheduler, moved to sales 10 years ago, and now oversees in-house accounts with other divisions and subsidiaries. Before joining SDI, Cindy worked in sales for Winzeler Stamping Co. in Montpelier, Ohio. Cindy’s husband, Rory, a rolling mill operator, has also been at Butler since start-up. They have two grown children, Arica and Adam. Cindy is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business management. She enjoys golf, volunteers with Junior Achievement and other nonprofits, and she and Rory recently earned scuba certification.

Mary Bailey

Inside Sales Supervisor

Mary brought more than two decades of experience in the metals industry when she joined SDI in November 2014. She began her career at AK Steel as a secretary and progressed to inside sales team leader and then product manager. Mary subsequently served as an inside sales manager for MISA Metals and a pricing analyst for Worthington Industries after it acquired MISA. Born and raised in South Jersey, Mary earned associate and bachelor's degrees from the College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati. She and Chris, her husband of more than 30 years, have two children, Rebecca and Alex.

Tammy Davis

Senior Inside Sales Specialist

Tammy joined the Flat Roll Division as an inside sales representative in 1997, bringing with her 20-plus years’ experience in customer service, including a 12-year stint with North American Van Lines. She grew up in DeKalb County, home to the Butler mill, and several family members also have ties to SDI. In her free time, Tammy continues to work toward a business degree at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne. Summers, however, are for fishing and relaxing around a campfire. Not long ago, Tammy and her husband, Fred, celebrated their 30th anniversary in Hawaii. They have two children, Tara and Craig, and six grandchildren.

Dana Vinson

Non-prime Sales

Dana has worked in a variety of capacities at the Butler mill since its start-up in 1996. She began in accounts payable before becoming a quality inspector and then inventory clerk for the cold mill. She then served stints as scheduler for the cold mill and hot mill before moving to sales in 2000. Dana grew up in nearby Bryan, Ohio. She earned an associate degree in business at Indiana Tech and is currently working on a bachelor’s degree. She and her husband, Jeff, have two daughters, Madison and Kaitlen. Dana enjoys reading, volunteering for her church and community, and time outdoors: camping, hiking, swimming, and cycling.

Melanie Cook

Melanie joined the Flat Roll Division in 2001 as a receptionist, moved to purchasing, and became a member of the sales team in 2009. She’d already gained plenty of sales experience during the nearly 20 years she and her husband, Keith, ran their own business. Melanie is a native of DeKalb County, home of the Butler mill. She and Keith have two children and five grandchildren. She enjoys reading and going to car shows with Keith in their 1968 Chevelle.

Dave joined the flat-roll sales team in 2012 after serving as a regional sales manager for Magic Coil Products and Mako Metals. A native of Williamsville, New York, Dave earned a bachelor’s degree in history and political science at the State University of New York College at Cortland. Dave enjoys hunting, fishing, playing hockey, and spending time with his family.

Janie Nodine

Inside Sales Representative

Janie’s from DeKalb County, home of the Butler mill, and joined the Flat Roll Division in 1996, when the mill was beginning production. She worked in claims for seven years before moving to the sales team. Janie went to cosmetology school right after high school, and after two years in that profession, started a 10-year stint in accounting with a local bank. Janie loves animals and has quite a collection of cats and dogs at home. She also enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, playing golf, following Fort Wayne Komets hockey, and traveling. Las Vegas, California, and Hawaii are favorite destinations.

Austin Presley

Inside Sales Representative

Austin joined SDI in 2014, shortly after he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, his hometown. As an undergrad, Austin was a member of the “EPIC” honors business program, played soccer for the Saint Francis Cougars, and worked in human resources at Parkview Health for two years. Outside of work, Austin enjoys bowling during the winter months and golfing throughout the summer. Traveling with friends is also a favorite activity.

Liz Risedorph-Emenhiser

Inside Sales Representative

Liz joined SDI in 2002 as a lab tech at the Butler mill, and became a member of the sales team in 2012. She also served 20 years with the Air Force and Air National Guard, retiring in 2010. Liz earned two associate degrees and a bachelor’s in organizational leadership and supervision at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne. She and her husband, Chris, who works in the melting department at Butler, have three children: Breanna, Brennan, and Nicklas. The family enjoys tearing up the universe in their off-road truck, and they’re big fans of the University of Michigan and all the Detroit pro teams.

Pete Schneider

Pete joined the sales team in 2003 after working as a buyer for an industrial products distributor. He was born in Washington, D.C., but grew up in Fort Wayne. Pete earned a bachelor’s degree in public affairs at Indiana University. He and his wife, Renae, have two sons, Mac and Evan. Pete’s leisure-time activities include golf, cycling, and coaching his boys’ youth sports teams.

Patty Snyder

Inside Sales Representative

Patty came to the Flat Roll Division in 2002 after an eight-year stretch in inside sales at Messenger Corporation, a publishing company headquartered in Auburn, Indiana. She grew up in South Bend. Patty and her husband, Mat, spend much of their time in the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. At the family homestead, they raise horses, chickens, and other critters. Mat, a former professional horse trainer, is a general contractor with SFM Construction, a business started by his father in 1972. They have two children, Madilynn and Lane. Patty herself is back in school these days, pursuing a business degree at Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne.

Adam Zimmerman

Inside Sales Representative

Adam learned the steel business in the trenches. He landed a job in the shipping department at the Butler mill in 2001 and later worked as a burner bander in the hot-roll mill. He joined the sales team in 2008. Before SDI, Adam was a quality-control technician with Phelps Dodge Magnet Wire Company in Fort Wayne. He earned an associate degree in social sciences (with honors) at Vincennes (Indiana) University. Adam enjoys traveling (the Florida Keys are a favorite destination), spending time at the lake, and attending pro football and baseball games. He’s also the No. 1 fan of his son Lane, born in 2008.

Lu Ann Bacon

Customer Service Representative

Lu Ann began her long career in the metals industry with a 20-year stint at Roll Coater Inc. in Kingsbury, Indiana, where she progressed to inventory control supervisor before moving into purchasing. Subsequent positions as a customer service team leader and sales coordinator have taken her to Illinois, Ohio, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Texas. A native of La Porte, Indiana, Lu Ann joined the sales team at Butler in November 2014 because of SDI's outstanding reputation—and so she could be closer to her daughter Krystl and her grandchildren Cameron and Caleb. Her daughter Leia lives in Los Angeles. Lu Ann's hobbies include reading, movies, camping, and time at the beach.

Leah Bredemeyer

Customer Service Representative

Leah started as a scale clerk in the shipping department at SDI's Butler mill in December 2001. She subsequently moved to accounts payable in the finance department before joining the sales team in February 2014. Leah earned an associate degree in accounting at International Business College in Fort Wayne. Leah and her husband, Andy, and their son Talon live in Auburn, Indiana. Together, they enjoy outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. Andy and Talon have also branched out into trapping.

Ann joined the sales team at Butler in 2014. She'd previously served as director of marketing for Fort Wayne Reinforcing Inc. Ann has earned two bachelor’s degrees: one in psychology at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne, and one in business administration at Indiana Wesleyan University. Ann's most treasured time is spent with her parents, her brother and his family, and her significant other and his daughter. Ann loves to cook, to sing, and to travel. She also has a passion for helping victims of domestic violence.

Chase joined the Butler sales team in November, 2016. After obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Purdue University, he began his career as a recruiter for a staffing services company. Besides recruiting, Chase also has experience in outside sales and client on-site supervisory roles. Outside of work, he is passionate about recovery coaching, meditation, exercise, and traveling.

Bill Soldano

Bill joined AIMS in 1998, and became president and owner in 2008. Headquartered in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, AIMS sells for the Flat Roll Division and The Techs. Bill has nearly 30 years’ experience in the business. Before AIMS, he established a long, successful career in sales and marketing with steel-manufacturing companies and steel service centers. He grew up in Jamestown, New York, and played football and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Bill and his wife, Laura, have two children, Austin and Jackie. He enjoys golfing, hunting pheasant, and spending time with family and friends.

Laura Selb

American Industrial Management & Sales (AIMS), Northeast Inc.

Laura started out as an administrative assistant at AIMS in 1996, right after she graduated from Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, Pennsylvania. She learned a lot about the steel-sales business from that vantage point before advancing to inside sales manager. She and her husband, George, have two children, Connor and Bridget. Laura’s favorite pastimes include spending time with family and friends, reading—and hiking, swimming, and kayaking at the family’s summer home in the Pocono Mountains.

Colby Ramaker

Colby joined Coho in 2000 after two years with a metals-related business in Milwaukee. He represents the third generation—and the third Colby—in his family to work in the steel industry, including his grandfather Colby Howe Sr. and his uncle Colby Howe Jr., president and founder of Coho. Colby was born and spent his early years in Washington state. He graduated from high school in Wisconsin, and earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He’s married to Jessica. Colby’s an avid reader and a military-history buff. He’s also a diehard Seattle Mariners fan and closely follows college sports.

Gary Esposite

Gary had worked in sales and marketing with Youngstown Sheet and Tube and Usinor Steel (now part of ArcelorMittal) for 13 years when he founded Metals Marketing in 1984. With offices in Sylvania and Columbus, Ohio, Metals Marketing sells products for the Flat Roll Division and The Techs. Gary grew up in Youngstown, Ohio, and earned a bachelor’s degree in business at Youngstown State University. When work allows it, Gary enjoys golf, fishing and spending time with his wife Ann and three grown children.

Cheryl Kronk

Cheryl’s been with Metals Marketing since 1989. Prior to that, she worked in banking. She grew up in Toledo, Ohio, and studied business at the University of Toledo. Cheryl and her husband, Jim, have three children, Kimmie, Christie, and Matthew. She enjoys spending time with family and friends,   watching sporting events, especially high school and college football, and playing coed softball.

Ken Rampolla

Ken is the president of RMI, the company he founded in 1990 after a career in sales and marketing with Bethlehem Steel. Headquartered in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, RMI also sells products for other SDI divisions. A New York City native, Ken earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and serves on the board of trustees at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Anne, a Spanish professor at Lehigh University, also serve on boards for other organizations. They have two children, Liz and Kenny, who plans to join RMI after college. Ken and Anne are both avid golfers.

Kenny Rampolla

Kenny started working at RMI in 2012 after a year in inside sales with a Wisconsin steel company. Born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and international business at Penn State University in 2011. While still a student, Kenny studied in Italy for a semester. Kenny enjoys the outdoors, exercise, live music, cars, and traveling. He’s also a huge fan of Philadelphia sports teams. Although he’s single, Kenny still has one very large mouth to feed: his Great Dane, Remi.

Ben Green

Ben was an inside sales representative for a large human resources services company before joining RMI in 2012. A native of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, he earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing at West Chester (Pennsylvania) University in 2011. Ben played on the West Chester soccer team for three years, and he now plays in an adult soccer league. Softball and golf are also among Ben’s leisure-time activities.

Penn Whitlow

Penn joined RMI in 2006. He got his start in the industry in 1980 with Taubensee Steel & Wire in Wheeling, Illinois, and later was rod sales manager for Bethlehem Steel in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Penn grew up in Davenport, Iowa, and earned a bachelor’s degree in history at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. Penn and his wife, Amy, have two sons, Penn and Sam. The boys are very involved in Scouting, and dad serves as a scout master. Penn’s other leisure activities include golf and winter sports.
